What would classify as a "dramatic turn of events"? A 1st rd exit?

Why would anyone leave LA
especially someone that’s rich

Dwade had a good point. The Celtics, although talented, lack an identity. They're not great on team defence (even though they have great defenders), they're not great in transition, they're not known as a 3pt shooting team. The most you hear right now is Tatum and Brown isos.

It's a weird year. Kemba was a known leader, Brown is smart and outspoken, Smart is the heart and soul of the team, Tatum is a good kid with the right approach to the game. What is missing here? They are not a cohesive unit.

they are missing a Donovan Mitchell type of player. part of that cohesion problem is that despite Kemba being the so-called leader of the squad, He isn't good enough to carry the team nor have the trust of his teammates. they needed as spark and Tatum though has the potential to be a great player and has the tools, seems passive or inconsistent as far as pushing his teammates to do better. added the fact that the Celtics need a center and a veteran really badly.

Interesting to see the plight the Celtics are in. I’ve heard all kinds of reasons, from roster construction, need for offseason changes, etc as to why the Celtics are under performing. Reality is the Celtics and their core (Smart, Brown, Tatum) have been with each other through the years, had consistency in terms of head coach, management, and such. Think Tatum was crowned next up a bit prematurely. Very good player so no knock or him, just needs further development. Brown has gotten better every year as well. They’re just lacking the fire/heart. Seems like it might be time to move on from Steven’s as it appears he can’t fire his guys up and they can’t seem to do it on their own.

why did Draymond insert himself in that discussion?

Draymond should probably not respond and let this die

He could clap back in an effective way. But I don't think Draymond is a skilled enough communicator to pull it off

Mans just gonna step in more ****. Time to fall back
Agreed. The only thing I don't like about this is cats who just naturally hated Draymond are going to disparage his character as if he didn't bring up valid points and try to portray him as being a misogynist. As seen within this thread.

It’s interesting that no one seems to want to hold accountable the person who, you know, is actually supposed to be responsible for things like team identity, players understanding their roles, players understanding their assignments, installing an offense that makes sense...

It’s pretty naive to just blame it all on injuries, I’ve watched a lot of Celtics basketball this year and while injuries and roster issues are going to prevent them being where Philly or Brooklyn is, they are playing well below their ceiling.
