this was what I was saying from the start. they were already a solid team to begin with, almost like the Heat. the acquisition of Hayward made them a hella lot better. not saying acquiring Lamelo didn't help but the Hornets were playoff capable not because of Lamelo. some people are just giving Lamelo "too much credit".

they are 5-1 without Lonzo this month. He’s having a good season but he’s expendable. NAW is giving you basically the same production and won’t be asking for $20Ms in the summer
