Gündogan would not be flames. He's not the player he once was before his spine/back? Injury. If we can get him for a big bargain I wouldn't mind but when teams sell to City there's no such thing. A lot more younger and better midfielders we can pursue. We also are in dire need of a young promising fullback at either left or right. A plethora of promising young fullbacks in the Premier League, but none in a City shirt.

Laporte will be great because of the obvious need to get rid of Demichelis. And I think bringing Denayer back would help out our CB rotation as well be cause of Kompany's injury problems.

I like the idea of Kompany, Otamendi, Mangala and Laporte with Denayer to fill in to those spots in case of an injury emergency. I think also think Denayer can help our fullback situation I think he is good enough to start at one of those spots for us now.
