This is the exact reason why I think LAFC has a legit chance to become LA’s team despite the history and not having any MLS trophies yet.

And the thing is LAFC play beautiful football even without the top names in the game. LA Galaxy is turning into a rest stop for waning European talent. If they like being a living museum that's fine, but without any effort you're not gonna win games. MLS isn't the same backwater it was 10 years ago. You have to earn your spot as a European transfer now, your team can't just walk into the he play off because you have one or two European stars anymore. LAG front office didn't get the memo it seems.
