It’s like I get it he should finish some chances better but some people go way to far when critiquing his game. To right him off as a trash player cause he didn’t finish some chances despite playing well and was dangerous outsifd of that and just completely ignoring everything he did in the league this season is the definition of knee jerk

Southgate himself deserves some credit for ditching the old guard in favor of the youth movement. He coached many of these players for years in the U-21/18s

Sterling with the per usual screw ups today. no way in hell he should be allowed to start when he continues to do this each damn game. shoulda easily been a 4-0 win. England cant afford to be doing crap like that in the semis, better yet finals.

I get it but this like the 3rd game where his lack of finishing stood out. He can make those runs all day but what’s the use if he can’t score. That’s probably compounded by the fact he was scoring so much for club this season.. had ppl thinking he finally took that step with his game
