Raheem’s problem is the positioning of his feet & his head gets in he way of where instinct should take over.

sterling has great movement though. non-stop worker too...

it's pretty interesting how you can tell some players have def learned from foreign managers/tactics while some of this england squad still plays like classic english players....rigid positioning lack of movement without the ball

Meanwhile at The Sun:

The commentator going over Sterling’s play: “He brings it down like a true crack, and he finishes the play like Raheem Sterling”

If England ends up losing. The press will kill Sterling for missing that chance than point the blame at the defense. Watch

Sterling is so gifted. He just needs to spend a summer learning how to put the ball in the back of the net. Could easily be a 20+ goal scorer a season with how City plays.

England bringing it back home without having a single goal scored from open play....

Harry Kane winning the Ballon D’Or for scoring 4 penalties, and deflecting a goal in...

I’m pretty sure we’re in English hell, get me the **** outta here
France/Belgium got this

1 vs 1 it's not about technique. at that point like psk said it's all mental
it's gotten in his head

Yeah, probably thought of 3 different ways to take the approach when he just needs to pick a post. He was nervous AF a few minutes ago when he was offsides too.

Besides bottling his chances he's actually looking lively out there. If he gets another chance I'm sure he'll score but Raheem doing Raheem things as usual.

I do think it’s mental it’s a confidence thing. He clearly plays with a lower confidence with England compared to City and I’m not shocked. At City everyone backs him from the Manager to his teammates to the fan base, if he makes as mistake with us we back him cuase we know he will come through like he has for us several times before. while with England if he makes a mistake an entire country and press comes down on him calling him worthless
