That New Zealand strip is class.... I love the ferns on the sleeves...

Hope not getting an undefeated season was worth going down to South Africa for the friendly... at least each player got €1.5 mill each for their troubles. :rolleyes

France’s World Cup hype vid is absolute fire....

Martial is def leaving United now. Needs to be playing a full 90 minutes somewhere

The New Zealand all blacks inspired strip is class :pimp:

Les Bleus reserves could probably get to at least the quarters tbh ,switch Bin Yedder with Coman in that XI and that's a pretty tough squad

That France squad could probably win the fake World Cup the US Soccer thought about throwing.

50m budget? Never change Kroenke

That'd be random as hell

Brinks truck Woody back if true

Sergej is so overrated & €91mill for him? A pivot who doesn't like to tackle... He's fine playing for Lazio but it would be a rude awakening for him at a big club in the Prem. I'm now convinced some of you guys don't actually watch games but play hella fifa...

Actually, what they were discussing is what they'll get for room service afterwards... :rolleyes

Dude pretty much is getting sacked basically for drawing Real, who are in the middle of their CL dynasty, in the knockout round :sick:

Tuchel's got all the pressure in the world on him

when you minimalize it like that it sounds worse than it is.
psg didn't play well at all...la liga teams played madrid harder than they did.

madrid brushed them aside like nothing.

imo psg were feeling themselves too much. neymar is neymar but madrid play against messi 2-3 times every season.
they not worried about him. ligue one results had them gassed up.

Emery was doomed the moment he got hired. Even more so once they got Neymar.

I think things might be different with Tuchel though. Emery thrives when he can dictate everything. That works with some clubs & clearly wasn't going to work with a locker room like P$G has. He's a good tactician too but somewhat rigid.

Tuchel likes things done his way but can adapt to what he has & sees. He's not rigid in his tactics either & will switch things up quick if he doesn't like what he sees. He also picks formations & line-ups based on his opponent & not afraid of making substitutions early if needed.

I just wanna know what they expected realistically since they've never gotten past the quarters in their history and were facing a Real side on their way to a 4th CL in 5 years. If Bayern and Juve can't get over that hump, what would make PSG so different that they feel entitled to the CL?

Tuchel won't get them past this Real side either

All of that

This would be crazy to see

Gonna be real interesting to see where he ends up this summer

So the French papers are saying Martial has always had a self entitled attitude & that was the chief reason why he wasn't included in the Les Bleus WC roster. didier is rumored not to be fond of his attitude at all. Martial's overall stats for this campaign aren't that bad & the papers say even if they were better, he would not have gotten the call up.

The omission that sucks the most is Laca because he was fairly consistent even coming back from injury. There is no way giroud should be going but we all know why he got picked.

it was always going to be a tough task to beat madrid... we know this.
but it's the way they played that was disappointing.

bayern self destructed but was the better team over both legs.
there's a big difference how bayern went out vs how psg went out
bayern can build off this year's performance because they know they can go toe to toe with madrid.
they were literally one good finish away from eliminating madrid...and boateng and robben got hurt in the first leg.

giroud is trash...and france don't deserve to win a world cup if they omit players like laca and martial but want to start giroud

Looking at that Portugal roster.... I don't see how Semedo didn't get a call up... He's a rock solid modern RB that can defend, get forward, & pass well.
makes no sense b. great tackler. great speed.
man is good under pressure too...doesn't loose the ball easily.

Some of the european journalists have written that he's played inconsistently which I don't see at all. There's a narrative being pushed over there that the count lookin' &ss MFer doesn't like Semedo that might explain his omission in numerous games. I watch every Barca game twice, there was only one game he played meh & that was his first one after he came back from injury. The only criticism one might have with him is that he doesn't have chemistry with the team but I put that on the count for not playing him consistently. Also, there were times where he could only defend because the team was getting over run with speedy opposition that was constantly pressing so he couldn't get forward like the count might've wanted.

Roberto played admirably last campaign at RB, but this year he got exposed for not being fast. His lack of speed looked even worse when he was placed in midfield. He's proven to be only a bench player at best. his lack of speed killed the team. Semedo should be platooned at RB from this point on.
