Sorry for the delay, I know you guys have been waiting on this. Without further ado, here's Trey's ideal starting XI for the WC:

GK: Armani
LB: Tagliafico
CB: Otamendi
CB: Fazio
RB: Mercado
CDM: Biglia
CM: Banega
CAM: Lanzini
CAM: Messi
LS: Aguero
RS: Dybala

Note: I used Sampaoli's 35-man list to make this line-up, I'm not including anyone who definitely won't be called.

England backline is weak imo and the midfield isn’t great either... I love to watch the PL but this team isn’t making any noise unless ‘Arry wins the Golden Boot which we know he’s got eyes on.

Also for the record, Stones is the top English CB but Smalling lowkey is right behind him. No wonder that backline is terrible.

I know my man... It hurts to know it.

I know my man... :frown::smh:

Smalling has my appreciation for the goal against City and being consistent (even if his consistent is 5.5-6/10 type performances), but Stones was a rock early in the year and has the superior ball skills.

Any news on when Belgium or France will release their final WC rosters?

Marseille probably won't get a better chance against this Atleti defense than the one they just missed

I have a feeling it might go to pens.

But if Marseille has another **** up, Atletico will take full advantage again
