Memphis tearing it up in a ****** league playing centrally. Fair play to him but I’m good on him returning.

Fitting salute to all his years of service at the club :pimp:

Really sad to see one of the last remnants of Fergie's glory years last decade leave :ohwell:

His calming presence in the MF was always appreciated and his understanding and reading of the game was world class. Happy to see him show it off in his final match at OT with that half-assist

He's been a classy player and individual during his time at the club and I hope that he can get Faria's old spot as Mou's assistant coach next season. His experience playing under Fergie would be valuable in the training room to counteract Mou's pragmafooty...

I love Carrick but not sure if he’s ready to be a number two just yet.

Good point,I'm just happy that theres bonna be some fresh blood in the coaching room to challenge or balance out Mou's thinking at times. That's one of the ways Fergie stayed up to date footy wise,he often changed assistants/trainers under him. Mou's gotten way too comfortable/complacent with the crew he's brought to every club he's worked at.

McKenna could be a good choice too given what he's done with the academy

>D

Semi-related,reports have Alex Sandro being close to signing for United this summer...Juve want £50m

Would be a huge plus in attack over Young, might actually get some overlapping runs on the left flank for a change

Guess that answers that,good news

Harry Kane’s obsession with the golden boot is annoying b

Opposing fans are gonna have a field day with dude next season and this summer with the way Spurs and the FA have to tried to have him treated with kid gloves. He better hope he balls out in Russia, the sharks will be circling if he has a dud...

United’s bought Martial for tearing up the same ****** league tho.

At this point I don’t think it’s the players that have ever been the issue at united

ADM, Martial, Memphis...
vs
Moyes, Jose, Van Gaal...

United could sign Lionel Messi and **** him up with the managers they pick to run the show.

Same thing at Arsenal. Ox left and had arguably his best season ever as soon as he landed in Liverpool.

Washed *** managers are the poison b

One of the best posts I’ve seen in a while.

Difference is that Martial was 18 and had never failed in a top league.

It’s a bit of both. I just can’t get jiggy with laying 100% of the blame on the manager when players don’t perform. It’s funny because nobody blames Conte for Chelsea’s **** season, it’s all on the players. When the topic is United it’s all down to Jose despite the fact he just led us to our best season since SAF retired.

ADM never played for Moyes. Martial has been good in spots under Jose but doesn’t put in a shift every match. Memphis was generally ****. Couldn’t beat a defender and his shooting was poor. If you have to blame the manager I guess you can blame Mou for buying Alexis and blame LVG for buying Memphis to play in a possession based side.

You don’t believe the Messi bit

Ox is playing in a better team in his preferred position, I would hope he’d play better.

I don’t think Jose is washed. LVG on the other hand.
