That's a good point. It's still a ***** move though. It reminds me how Bayern was shadow buying players through other clubs cuz they didn't want other inflating the prices.

In reference to De Vijt rumours a few pages back he said about a month ago he’d prefer going to Barca as he’s soon to leave Ajax based on close brotherhood history between both clubs. I respect that.

ter Stegen plays more games of course so his body of work is more expansive. So his chances for mistakes are greater. I've seen him get caught flat footed some times & get scored on. Enough to miss out on the Zamora trophy. I'll put some of those mistakes on the defense though.

I really like Jasper's distribution. I've seen him hit guys in stride sometimes with great distance as well as being solid defensively. He does an amazing job of keeping his feet active. You can tell he works on his technique a lot given he doesn't play much. Go back & watch the games he's played in. I've watched every game twice this campaign (as I always do). Jasper was really impressive.

He was great at Ajax too...
