Nah CL Final doesn’t effect Chelsea. If Liverpool finish fourth in PL, the fifth spot doesn’t get the additional CL bid.
Chelsea are Europa bound unless Liverpoo completely bottle it on Sunday.

extra spot would only go if somebody outside your top 4 wins Europa, which gets an auto CL spot, that's why the EPL had 5 this year, and La liga the year before

Didn’t watch the match. Tuned in as Sevilla celebrated 2-nil and did the Seinfeld gif. Turned on notifications and I see this dude Ramos misses a penalty and the next one is an own goal by him
We’ve been out of the title race with all our eggs in the CL basket. I remember thinking before last season that winning the CL is great but the league is what I really want this time, and they got the double. This year I’ll be good with a threepeat. Next season it’s back to how I felt the prior year. We need to construct a side that can win the league. And it may involve some of these youngins going out on loan or getting buyback deals for a year or 2.

Right, or if the CL champ finished outside of an automatic spot in their league.
There’s no built-in “extra spot”, I believe if it happens the lowest ranked automatic bid just gets bumped down to the play-in round.

Is it just me or do these sleeves look ridiculously long. Other than that I'm loving these new kits. Always liked Macron quality but the fit not so much, looks like I'm gonna be disappointed with the fit of these as well seeing as they are Puma.

I'll be checking out some American FA Cup matches later. There will be plenty of teams to check out watching as it goes on. I would've gone to one of the matches in Miami going on later tonight if I planned ahead.

I'm not worried at all. I think that the clear favorites going into next season will be City, Liverpool, and Tottenham to a lesser extent.
It is, however, undeniable that Chelsea tends to do well in the EPL when they don't qualify for the UCL. You're spot on with the point you make about Thursday matches though.
