Wasn't it the same dark arts pool employed initially with VVD?
False. We've done buisness like this with Southampton since Jesus was a boy. They just wanted to hold on to VVD until they could develop a proper replacement. They haven't been able to thus they are on their way to relegation. Atleast the VVD sale can help offset whatever money they'll be losing once they drop to the championship.

Could you expound upon what Barca did that is upsetting? I viewed as similar to the VVD but you don’t. So I’m curious as to why that is exactly?

They employed aggressive tactics against both Suarez and Coutinho. While all the while funneling rumors to the media and creating this mass hysteria. They got into both players heads during the regular season and come summer, the players already had their bags packed as if transfer terms had long been resolved.

Today is the day fellas. Hoping for the W.

But as long as we get an exciting match, which we should, let the best team win.

Btw this game won't be decided until the second leg. Even if either team is up 5-0

he was born with it?

He doesn't really have a club foot, I was joking, but he does appear to have the issue mentioned in the vid below as he's been cutting the back heel portion of his boots for a while now. I first noticed it in a before game Liverpool locker room vid a couple of years ago.

I agree that Coutinho got his head turned by the "Barca machine" which is the same effort given to Bellerin (that failed), most people are incorrect about hannibal. He was always coming to Barca after Liverpool.

He was tired of Rodgers & was really unhappy about comments he made at the time. He was tired of the English press, but the cheif among all of those was his desire to live near his wife's parents who have been living in Barcelona for years. He's apparently very very close to them (closer to them than his own parents) so he wanted his family to leave near them while playing for a big club that could offer chances to win trophies (while making dough).

People think back then that Madrid had a shot at signing him but there wasn't even a remote chance of that because of the inlaws.

why are you acting like it's a one-way street?
suarez and coutinho both wanted to come to barca

So Denis Suarez & Semedo have games played clauses in their contract that pay City & Benfica respectively which is the reason why neither played as much this campaign. The board is said to have told Ernesto not to play them as much bcs of this.

City gets €800k for every 10 games Denis plays & Benfica gets €5mill for every 50 games he plays.

Lucho apparently left bcs the board would dictate who he could play or not play bcs of contract issues like this.

This is exactly why I’ve been saying everyone needs to go running this club... who negotioted this contacts?!?!?!

Denis should’ve played waaay more than gomes especially after it was seen hecwsnt measuring up prior to Christmas. Smh...

denis suarez and gomes are both trash though so they cancel each other out.
denis suarez has been given plenty of chances.
he's good as a rotational midfielder against lesser clubs. that's it.

br must have a dedicated department for memes

:rofl:Listening to The Euro Leagues Podcast & they're saying Carlo would be a terrible fit for Arsenal... Raphael Honigstein said he had a fitness coach at Bayern that was a chain smoker... They had to run through his smoke clouds during training & pre match... OMG that's rich....

Why are we wasting our breath talking about teams that aren't in the UCL?

lol was listening to that this morning... needless to say Honigstein has not appeared to be even slightly impressed with Carlo's time in bavaria
