Sergio Ramos will not face UEFA punishment

UEFA have decided not to punish Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos after revising the referee's report from the clash between Los Blancos and Juventus.

The report stated that the player was never at 'pitch level', despite leaving his box to watch the closing stages of the game from the tunnel.

With that information now confirmed, UEFA have closed the case and Ramos will be available for selection for both legs of the Champions League semi-final.

Man, these Liverpool fans think that advancing past Roma is already a done deal. Aside from kocking out Barca, do I need to remind you that Roma finished first in the group that had Atletico Madrid and Chelsea? Knocking out the perennial CL chokers Man City shouldn't have you this excited.

You're giving Liverpool so much neck right now. Only one person has said what you claim and even so, y'all been trashing on us all season long. None of y'all would have thought we would beat Man City 3 out of the 4(should have been full 4/4 had there not been referee interference in the first meeting). We deserve to be boastful. I picked Real to win it but yo these dudes can’t catch a break right now. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a tough route thru the knockout stages. PSG, Juve, now BM.... But hey, it’s karma man, I think last year (or year before) they had an incredibly easy route to the final.

Football gods are real man, Barca got knocked out vs Roma after that amazing comeback last year against PSG, karma in full effect. If Real do end up winning this, they’ve definitely earned it.

Seems since Zidane has taken over Real Madrid and Barca have kinda switched philosophies. Zidane going with younger academy products and Barca trying to make Galactico type signings.

Along with Zizou I’d also credit Flo & co for doing a brilliant job scouting and acquiring talent. Gotta respect that Zizou never demanded a galactico and believed in himself and the team enough to lose stars and be able to compensate with a team+cohesion philosophy. It unfortunately backfired in the league and they went too young, but hopefully they find a happier medium next offseason.
