Feel like these big clubs might run into a little spell where they will have to buy younger/un-established talent. That or pay big *** sums for established players.

I mean yea it’s believable the club would want players like hazard, Alderweireld and Lamar every club would be interested in players of their quality. i just don’t see any of em realistically happening. Especially Hazard or Alderweireld.
We only need 3 signings this summer. A CDM to take over for Fernandinho. Another forward like we’ve been wanting since the original Alexis chase just won’t be a huge name like Hazard and someone who would be fine being rotated at left back. Maybe another Cb only if we sell Otamendi

I’m not saying we don’t have the money to spend im just arguing what would make more sense how I think we will spend it. And that’s not really what he said either. He was taking about building a squad and it’s tougher to do that when you spend 100+ mil on one player at the time when you could spend that on two or three and fill out the team more.
Btw I do think we break that 100+ mark this summer if their is any truth to those Savic rumors. Which if we did something like that last summer I’d have a problem with it cause their would’ve been more pressing areas in the squad that could’ve gone to. Now I’d be fine with it cause the squad is pretty fleshed our for the most part outside of two positions

The 600 mil+ would be Peps spending in the 3 summers he will have total not just 600 in this summer coming up.
But more importantly I mean yea they would all be welcome additions im just saying what I think would realistically most likely happen. Lemar is most plausible of those 3 you mention imo, we've done good business with Monaco and seem to have a good relationship with them. Dont think Spurs would want to sell us Alderwerield after selling us Walker last summer. And as much as we all have been questioning how Chelsea do business lately they are still a club with aspirations to win the league every year if possible I just can't see them selling their best player to another title contender.

I could see spurs selling alderwerield to city if it is for STUPID record breaking money only because sanchez fit into the back 4 seamlessly. DL is about that money right now especially because of the new stadium.
