That sucks... hope you feel better... The flu here is the states has been terrible. More people young & old have died from the flu than usual... An aquitence of my boss died from complications brought in by the flu right after Christmas. She was only 36...

i work with kids all day and i've never seen anything like this
i never usually get sick and got the flu twice this season

Same here. I actually didn't get the flu for a few years prior to late 2017 but just about everyone I know got it somewhere in late 2017 to now.
I'll gladly take the flu over the shingles rash I have now though.

My dad had a bad case of pneumonia not so long ago. He went in the ER around Thanksgiving and spent almost a month in a hospital bed. We feared he might have been out for much longer because he had to get 2 different tubes attached to his back to drain all that fluid. Luckily, he was able to come home and spend Christmas day in his own bed.
