Apparently there isn't anything new for the Prince / PSG collab just the current shirt with the Prince logo on it, meh....

Ronaldo in Serie B, damn

I don’t even think Juventus will be allowed in Serie B since they work in unison with Seria A.

Juventus will just be out there floating somewhere, playing friendlies. It’s hilarious when you think about it.

If this was pre covid times that Vlahovic kid would definitely go somewhere for big money

Idk about the Haaland comp but he's highly thought of.

These clubs holding onto the Superleague thing is probably one of the most immature things I've ever seen from professional organizations. Good thing they're not involved in politics, because honestly this type of refusal to take an L is worse than Trump still going on about the 2020 election. At least that clown had far more people on his side that believe and support him. Who the hell even supports the Superleague other than Florentino and his bootlickers

Barcelona

I know, that's who I meant (Barca, Juve, and the other club's owners who got scared and dipped). Barcelona doing this has to be the worst out of all the clubs though. Who would've thought that a club that was supposed to represent Catalan pride and independence would sell out their own people and values to join Madrid  "Mes Que Un Club" died a long time ago; it's been a facade for the past 10-15 years. People hate on Bartomeu but Rosell and Laporta were/are scumbags too. Having the best players in the world just distracted fans from the shadiness

Oh, nobody. It’s the refusal to take an L like you said. Trump November all over again. Banks backed out and they’re still going. It’s pathetic.

But do United still go after Kane? That’s way more interesting a story. 🤔
Levy would rather ship Kane off to some other country for a much lower fee than even consider selling him to a PL club.

Facts.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are basically the same club now on opposite sides of Spain. It’s nauseating.

That's why I don't get too invested in any of this anymore and just take it as entertainment. I used to be naive and think Barca were above it, but they're just like every other major club that's only about $$$ and couldn't give a damn about values/ethics.

For example, I know people (including Barca and Real Madrid fans) like to roast PSG and Manchester City for being funded by Qatar and UAE, but fans of those same clubs seem to not realize where the millions for their own giant Fly Emirates and Qatar Airways sponsors comes from, and who exactly their partnerships with banks such as HSBC benefits.

Fans just need to stop looking for morality and values in the sport because you'll just end up looking like a fool in the future when the dirt eventually comes to the spotlight

Well yea of course, totally agree. But Barça’s 180 in just one decade is crazy to me. I didn’t think Barça would have gone thru with it until I saw it. And the continuous refusal to abandon the SL is even more shocking.

Morality and business don’t mix, that’s the way it is.

But I’ve clowned England for years and I have to take some of that back. Even if morality is dead their fans stopped the Super League. I gotta give them credit there, those fans were NOT having it. RM, Barça, and Juve fans just don’t care. So thanks England, that **** united the whole country.

I just saw Manchester United lost out on a $200 mil sponsorship because of these fan protests; that's amazing  :pimp:

I think the signs were there but most people just didn't pay too much attention because of how good the players were. Laporta's the one who was trying to cover up his family members being Francisco Franco Foundation supporters in the mid 2000s WHILE dude was claiming to be pro-Catalunya

Meanwhile Rosell kept himself busy by being involved in money laundering and bribery all throughout his run.

Yea English fans saved the game, they’re getting **** done right now. Spurs gonna have a protest soon also 🔥

Didn’t know that about Laporta, not even surprised tho. :rolleyes

It was his brother in law; at first he tried to deny and cover up his BIL's involvement, but apparently some documents came out that made the denial impossible. His BIL resigned but Laporta still kept him involved indirectly while also promoting all sorts of pro-Catalunya political and social activities throughout the region.

Edit:

Yet Laporta’s presidency was not without controversy or scandal. In June 2005, five members of the club's board of directors resigned, including now-president Sandro Rosell. The resigning members accused Laporta of having abused his power as president and having adopted megalomaniacal tendencies.

In October 2005, he faced the breaking of a new scandal when his brother-in-law and member of the board, Alejandro Echevarría, was revealed to be a member of the Francisco Franco Foundation, a fact not very well liked in any region of Spain, let alone Catalunya. After repeated denials by Echevarría and Laporta, contested by documents brought forth by a former member of the board of directors, Laporta was finally forced to accept Echevarría's resignation.

Laporta’s own political history and views also added to the controversy of his presidency. A self-described Catalunyan nationalist, he has loudly and repeatedly expressed his support of Catalunya’s independent autonomy from Spain and very publicly characterised Barca as the ensign for Catalunyan separatism. Such politicalisation of the club drew the ire of a number of Barca club members who accused Laporta of alienating Barcelona fans, both within and outside of Catalunya.

But despite the less than pristine record, Laporta won re-election for another four years, as no other candidate was able to secure the 1,804 signatures to contest his presidency. The controversial rule would continue, but in large part it was overlooked as unprecedented success saw Barca experience one of the greatest periods in their history.

This is insane. Basically if you’re an authority figure in Spain you can get away with anything.
