They need to just extend the season or cancel some games. The schedules already packed too heavy, and they cant keep moving pieces around and cancelling games the day of. No good outcome, so bite the bullet and put the health of the players first.
Also agreed. I know intl managers need time and camps to get used to players, but having international breaks every 6-8 weeks with no time off in domestic leagues is brutal. Especially these days. Players are tired out and on field chemistry is gone as soon as they go back to their clubs. But that's an entirely different discussion to be had.I always thought International breaks should be scrapped during professional sessions - then when the season is over, go into a International month of football in May. It’d also help with team chemistry.
