great move for all parties involved. he definitely has the talent. the margins are just too slim at barca. he needs to be able to make mistakes and be able to play through them. at barca, you are supposed to win every match so he had no room for error or he was getting pulled.

Personally I love the separate leg sleeve from a player perspective. Match socks always gave me issue with stretch; they’re made to stretch a ton in the leg to accommodate lots of sizes and shinguards, but then that continues into the toes/foot and gives fit issues where you don’t want them.
instead, you wear the sock your most comfortable/familiar with in game, and just pull the sleeve over for compression/guard lock/ team uni. It’s a near perfect solution
