I’m studying Belgium and looking thru everything like I’m doing a finals report. 14 hours to go and I’m already nervous.
Belgium you’re nervous too, no lie.
So what’s your take? I’m more worried about what I’m going to wear. But I’m going to say Portugal is going to win. Knock off italy, and Spain in the semis. I want payback for 2012. And then torment the English one more time. I’ve always followed with my heart and not my head.
if portugal wins, nobody is going to be surprised. And if Belgium wins same thing. It literally is a tossup with a slight edge to Belgium because of their form. But we came out of the group of death and didn’t have a pushover.
Santos cannot start both William and Danilo ever again. I want palhinha in there. And maybe he starts nuno mendes. But he might a have flashback to the World Cup vs Uruguay where Cedric started all the group games then gave ricardo the start in the round of 16 which ended up being a mistake as both goals came from his side.

I think it’ll be a very close game that could go either way.
Meanwhile our press’ delusions are spinning out of control. The pundits are literally saying things like “Portugal doesn’t stand one shred of chance against our Devils“

They’re already focusing their analysis on the hypothetical next opponent as if us beating Portugal is just an easy guaranteed win.

You must think Italy played like **** then. Italy dominated the 1st half but couldn’t score. They looked flat in the 2nd half. The Veratti sub came because they needed fresh legs and a boost.

Austria definitely played a tough match and were a few inches away from making it real interesting but I feel like the end result was a fair reflection of how well Italy played for most of the match.
They can definitely hang their heads high though even though they lost, was a hell of an effort on their part.
Hoping today's games are more like that one rather than Denmark - Wales

My take is clear….I think Portugal are winning. Not because we’re sooo amazing - just because I don’t think Belgium is the side they were a few years ago. But I wouldn’t be surprised if they win either. It’s very much a toss up.
But Belgium are definitely favorites looking at the outside world. From pundits and Vegas. Seems like the only rational person is the Belgian in this thread
But if we lose, Santos has to go
