i don't think anyone expected lenglet to be this good. he was brought in to be a backup so he should be ok with that.
he's actually been so good he's keeping umtiti out of the starting 11 and deservedly so.
i have no issues with valverde keeping lenglet at the top of the pecking order while umtiti gets back to 100%

mdl needs a season with little pressure on him imo...he's not as ready to go as de jong so bringing him in slowly will be good for him. the speed the ball moves in la liga is very quick and he'll need time to adjust
