You’re absolutely right about not having leverage. But I think we’ll be forced to take the risk and keep CHO if we can’t bring in any replacements. No way we can survive a year with just Willian, Pedro, & Pulisic on the wings. Possibly could give Musonda a shot, but I don’t know what’s going on with him.

Also, CHO would stand to gain from Hazard leaving. That would definitely open up more playing time for him.

But we’ll see what happens..
As a Chelsea supporter, I can understand your apprehension to part with CHO. Kid is a star, we've seen the flashes in Europa League. 50M euros doesn't even feel like quite enough from Bayern for the 18-year-old, and there has to be a fight for a buy-back clause if any board is even considering to sell CHO.

I'm constantly puzzled why Sarri hasn't played CHO and RLC more regularly in his first London campaign. Alonso has been spotty, leaving the opportunity to play CHO deeper. Or if you desire him attacking, rotate him further up the pitch with Willian and Pedro. The former is inconsistent, the latter is aging. I long felt RLC slots in well at LM next to Jorginho and Kante in a midfield three. Sarri has struggled to fill that position with Barkley, Kovacic, etc.

You hit the nail on the head. CHO has supposedly told Chelsea that if they don't let him go to Bayern this summer he will sign a pre contract with us next winter and go for free. I think Chelsea will probably want to take the money rather than that situation
I just remembered Pavard is a done deal for Bayern. Doesn't Kovac view him at centre-back (his natural position) over RB (where Deschamps played him in the WC)?

I've read Rummenigge has approved a summer war chest. Pavard, Lucas, CHO, maybe MdL and maybe Brandt.

everytime i watch madrid asensio makes goals happen
not sure why he was alienated for vini... vini is cold but not on asensio's level yet
In an ideal world, Vinicius and Asensio would both be starting on opposite wings. However, if you go by form in this entire campaign, Vini has surpassed Marco. Once the young Brazuca tightens up his decision-making and finishing in the final third, it's a wrap for La Liga opponents.

Why do people keep bringing up ole’s header against Barca like that has any significance at all?
You know what has more signifigance?
Barca washing Man U twice in the finals and the core of that team is still playing. Pique busquets and Messi.

I wouldn’t call Barca a favorite. Imo the field is even. I think Barca has the best squad in the competition but one of the worst managers.
See, this type of rebuttal I can get down with. I expected and give kudos that you properly mentioned MU losing to Barca in two separate CL finals, 2011 most recently (3-1) and 2009 before that (2-0). That history certainly matters in the psyche of the players.

OGS's goal as a player matters to me because United supporters and the club have molded Ole into a mystical figure post-Mourinho. There's a belief in the dressing room. They've only lost to Arsenal in the EPL. Flipped the entire PSG tie away, while subbing on youngsters like Tah and Mase while chasing a goal. I believe that Ole's CL experience as a player, and specifically success at the Camp Nou ground, will benefit the mentoring of Lukaku, Rashford, Martial, Lingard and Pogba.

On paper, I rank the field: FCB, Juve, LFC, MC, MU, Spurs, Porto, Ajax.

Yeah Pavard is done. We plan to use him as a rotational CB/RB. I don't think we get de ligt personally. It's looking like his barca move is gonna happen. Brandt is supposedly a done deal at dortmund already. We are pushing hard for Havertz to fill that CAM role. Aside from Pavard being signed already, it's looking like the main targets that have a good chance to sign are Lucas and CHO. Then we are chasing Havertz, Pepe, Fekir, and De Ligt. Along with Tolisso coming back healthy I think I'd be ok with the squad with those additions plus at least 1 of then4 main guys we're chasing. It's going to be a rebuild and we can't expect to be a favorite for the CL next season.

My dream scenario is that we push to get Ten Hag as manager and get Kovac out. That would put us in the driver's seat for De Ligt along with a proven manager who has years of experience with the club already

Yea dude you stay posting crazy late during the week, I assume you work nights?

Quick question.... Can you wife up a chick who snores? (Not literally wife either, I feel you’re about to get married )

I won’t get married until after 40, no way. But when I do, I predict wild divorces in the following years.

To tell you the truth, my third wife probably hasn’t even been born yet.
Chea, man. "Work like a slave, eat like a King."

Lol, I'm pretty close, brotha. I said the same thing as you, that marriage wasn't for me and didn't really care for kids. Thoroughly enjoyed the bachelor lifestyle for years and whored my way through college. The chase just felt empty after a while and I didn't wanna build an empire to have no one special to share it with.

Snoring doesn't bother me. I sleep like a bear. Can knock out on flights no problem.

Why, your current snores like crazy??

The luck City has had is unreal. Controversial calls always go in their favor.

Lucky as **** today this refs were complete **** all props to Swansea

Liverpool’s scored like 7 offsides goals this year and had a few wrong calls go in y’all favor last year in the UCL quarters against us. And to do a callback way back to the beginning of the season one of the reasons we dropped point dearly in was cause Boly scored a goal with his hand and the ref missed it. That one sure went in our favor huh

I truly can't recall 7 offside goals in our favor  .

City, lucky with calls and draws been the theme lately :lol

Sterling used to get hammered countless times, not even in the box and refs wouldn't bat an eye. Now we get some favorable calls and we always lucky. Okay.

There’s been a few but the point is sometimes big calls go your way sometimes they don’t. We’ve had some against us we’ve had some for us (just like Liverpool) That’s how it goes. Now if VAR was in use and correctly overturned that penalty call and Agueros header because they were clear as day errors even the most incompetent ref would’ve overturned. I wouldn’t complain at all because the correct decision would have been made I feel for Swansea today cause we all know what it’s like to be screwed by **** refs. Blame the FA for not implementing VAR

Sancho to Rolls Reüs for the game winner, thought Dortmund would end up with a draw but they fought back

This still plays to my frustration of City getting calls tho. That's all I'm getting at.

I know but said all the calls go in our favor though and that’s just factually incorrect so that’s what I’m pushing back on is all. And it just pointing out it’s funny considering y’all have had big calls go in y’all favor agianst us recently

Yeah the refs were absolute *** today, but shout out Swansea. They played really well, that 2nd goal of theirs was a beauty.
