Ya gotta put some respect on my boy pique today.

Real back to the virgin offense, masters of beating around the bush

no clue. maybe they will bring it out later.

modric on skates

I wish we would have drawn Madrid in the ucl

Even with CR7, RM have been two different teams in Spain and Europe

Apparently in Spain people know to just sprint behind their fullbacks to win, teams outside of Spain don’t have the tactical nuance and mind for their game to conjure up such a complex gameplan

Man of the match performance by the entire team today. They were warriors out there. Emery got his tactics spot on. I just hate that we were hard done by the refs again! That's two straight games where Kane is pocketed and bailed out by the refs (Mustafi with another error). LACA had two great chances and didn't take em. Auba at the end fluffed his lines, but it wasn't a penalty for me to begin with. This was one of the best defensive and balanced performances of the season from the guys. Hate to see Ramsey sent off without a NLD win. Prem has the worst refs among the major leagues.

I'm confident enough to say now that we won that swap deal. Mhiki has been tremendous for us and he's starting to show the form he showed at BVB. Iwobi was also great. It's gonna be a hard game next week without Lucas, but I got enough faith in these guys to come away with three points. We're a different team at the emirates this season and it's kind of turned into a mini fortress this season. I have no doubt Auba and Laca are gonna be hungry to make it right next week.

We were clearly the better team over 90 mins, but the top 4 race is truly on. Spurs look vulnerable at the moment and I believe 3rd and 4th are both up for grabs at this point.

Vinicius gotta change his number.

#28 just looks ugly lol
Vinicius wore #20 at Flamengo, but Asensio got that number on lock. Even with the underwhelming campaign he's having.

Perhaps Vini can usurp #11, if/when RM sells Bale. Number he wore at Castilla and Brasil U17.

So flyeed flyeed , @Verde Shuttles , & the other madridistas, what are the primary needs of this team in the transfer market?

If you were running the team, who would you get rid of as soon as this campaign ends?

I think the obvious move is that if we’re going to run a 4-3-3, which seems to be the most natural way with Vinicius, then we need someone to definitively lock down the right wing. Vazquez is a squad player, and it’s time for Bale to go home.

I still think we’ve got to experiment with Asensio and Isco before having more clarity on a final verdict. We could try the diamond again with Isco (slotting Vini a bit inward,) which might be more viable without Marcelo. We could also try Asensio at RW. And if he shows promise then we can focus on upgrading Benz (ideally going all in for Mbappe, but maybe with Neymar down the middle?)

If we do get Porto’s Militao and he’s as good as the footy world believes, then I think we’re adequate defensively. We just need to have an attack that guarantees goals, and that can have the team believing they can come back not just to tie the match, but to win when they go down.

I think our midfield isn’t the issue either, now that Luka has gotten back to his pre-WC form. He’s got another season at least in him. But this summer we’ve got to address the inability to score.

Vibes were lit at Mulligan's in Hoboken for the NLD. Snowy conditions did not damper the turnout in the slightest. Very strong Spurs contingency to begin the match. Saw multiple Sonny jerseys. Evened out with Gunners supporters around the 20th minute.

Although Kane held the ball too long and should have fired a shot, Dav Sanchez is largely responsible for "Rambo's" opening goal. What was he thinking stepping forward in that manner in the middle of the pitch?

Trippier redeemed himself somewhat after the OG debacle midweek. Was lively down the right channel, when all of us expected Mustafi to be the one exposed on Tottenham's left side of attack.

Sissoko was easily one of the best players on the pitch throughout. Wreaked havoc every minute of the match, while providing cover for Trippier, as he often has to do defensively.

A bunch of us were joking and taking bets on how quickly Lamela would secure a yellow card. Over/under was five minutes. Sure enough...

Ref missed a clear yellow on Xhaka fouling Kane in the first half. Overall, Spurs were unlucky to be down 1-0 at half.

If Danny Rose's studs-up challenge on Leno was a yellow, then Torreira's late foul with studs on Rose should always have been a yellow. Instead of a straight red.

Both penalties were of the softer variety. Mustafi definitely shoved/elbowed Kane in the back. Which is mind-boggling because Kos was shielding right in front of Kane. Same on the pen Auba drew. Was definitely pushed to ground but still a soft judgment.

Edit:
That Leno double-save on Eriksen and Sissoko was flames. Might have saved Arsenal a point in the grand scheme of things.

Feel like it’s always you la liga fan boys saying this. We always just say it’s most entertaining. Regardless, I don’t get drawn into this debate anymore. I love all footie.. I don’t need to bring down your one horse, highly overrated league to validated my fandom
