Both backlines shut down everything, Lindelof & VVD were the standouts

Mane been some mid lately, Gigi Wijnaldum is my guy

I’ll take he point all things considered. Feel like it was a terrible game from both teams. Really sloppy stuff. Injuries might be piling up.

Feel like ole got it seriously wrong bringing on Jesse

Great shot

Yea it's pretty nuts how DDG literally had nothing to do all game

Pleasantly surprised by the backlines performance against probably the best attack in the league

Vic has really become a baller and come into his own since the end of 2018,looking like the CB we were looking for when he was brought in

As for Alexis Sanchez....

I’m firmly of the belief Ronaldo put a curse on the number 7 shirt at United.

Valencia
Di Maria
Memphis
Alexis

Valencia became good when he changed numbers tho :lol

We’ll see if the name happens at RM :lol

Honestly given the circumstances,I'm more than happy with a draw especially with the mettle and heart the squad showed against top opposition in that 2nd half.

Even 1 point looked in doubt after that half from hell

Just hoping some of these injuries won't be long term...the injury bug showed up with a vengeance
True... on one hand, given the injuries, I'm happy with the point... but at the same time, Utd had a few half-decent opportunities where they could have stolen a goal.

Time for the main course in the EFL Cup :hat

Idk if any Chelsea fans care about the EFL Cup but anytime City and Chelsea play it's gonna be a battle.

Would much rather have this be an FA Cup final but a trophy is a trophy. I got 2-1 City. This game has KDBs footprints all over, hes due to have a huge game since coming back from injury, this might be the one.

Arguably his most impressive feat given the state of the backlines he's played behind during his time at United. He had an old Rio and Vidic for about a year and a half before really becoming the main man in back third

Agreed

Smalldini almost helped steal it but guess it wasn't meant to be. It was encouraging performance given the context imo

Still shocked how they managed to create better quality chances in the 2nd half than 'Pool did

The guy literally sucks now. I’ve never seen such a drop off since like Schevchenko
Schevchenko has the excuse of changing leagues, Alexis just looks so lost. Worst part is he puts in a lot of effort for first 20 mins. Then he just drops off. Pogba was getting so frustrated with him out there.

I’d give Rom another season, Alexis can kick rocks tho

Alexis is like Chelsea era Nino but at least he scored some big goals in Europe for their trouble

Kind of hoping China comes calling for him cause no one in Europe is gonna be down to take on those wages...

I'm convinced that Messi would become El-Hadji Diouf status if he became United no.7,**** is beyond madden cursed at this point

Is Fred that terrible he can’t even sniff the pitch over McTominay and half our front line going down?

I wasn’t overly impressed with him when he did play this year but he was our big purchase this summer, I’d like to see him at least get a chance.
