☘️ Boston Celtics Official 2023-2024 Regular Season Thread ☘️

PJ Tucker will not attempt a shot in the key for the rest of this series, so long as Rob is on the floor. Lol

He still drives me crazy at times, but he’s a necessary evil.

His behind the back layup attempt on the break with Tatum right there with him

I like to think he only tried that because they were up 25+

But yeah him and Al and a healthy Rob are super important. Marcus had some extra juice. Ime had to drag him out of the game in the 4th.

I’m so happy Al and smart are back. I know it’s only 1 game but they look so much better. Even Pritchard was good. Idk where Derrick white will stand with this team next year

White is fine with the team as a utility guy. He fits the team’s identity of defense and ball movement perfectly. Just unfortunately hasn’t really been hitting shots. Team still plays pretty well with him on the floor though. Unless he’s part of a larger trade, he’ll definitely be back.

Nesmith needs to develop more as well. I seen him at summer league and him and Pritchard were killing it. I even sat next to his parents. He shows good flashes so excited to see his progress as well

They are definitely going to upgrade the Nesmith spot this summer. Still have a $17M TPE. Probably a JRich type guy. Maybe even be him.

Also think Horf gets dealt either in a Beal trade or for Harrison Barnes.

Neto

But in all seriousness, KCP would fit really well.

I lowkey feel bad for J-Rich not being a part of this run.
I didn’t mean White for Beal straight up.. White, Nesmith and a few other players I can see

Yes, we are still in on Beal. I don’t like it, but you do what you gotta do to keep Tatum happy. Might be different if we win it all this year.

i remember that post-parade interview the Cs had back in 08 (Idk why I still remember parts of it lol) but Gorman playfully BEGGING Posey to resign with the team definitely stuck with me. Dude was such a perfect fit for them then.

What are your thoughts on bringing Bruce Brown on home? Feel like he's another role guy that would flourish in Ime's system.

Nets might let him walk because of how much their luxury tax bill is. If Brown wants to come home, there are a few paths to get there, especially with TPE the team still has.

I like him. Would definitely be a fan favorite cuz he’s local.

He showed flashes of scoring and can defend really well.

Oladipo not even that good… Celtics were sloppy with it

Celtics are starting to piss me off a bit with the inconsistency. Not getting up on these bum undrafted shooters the heat has, being sloppy with the passes/ turnovers. The celtics looked beat last night..like they had no intent.

Then you see Golden State finding ways to win every night while playing with the same intensity and desperation… Those boys playing like they need another championship
