♚ Sacramento Kings ♚ Off-Season Thread

After thinking this thing out over the pass two days Harrison Barnes at 5 would be the best pick. I'm not sold on him being a SF because he plays like a shooting guard and his defense is weak imo. But I like the fact that he can make plays. He has a Kobe like mid range game and the Kings need something like that he wouldn't come in and be another three ball jacker. I think Smart would fix his defensive efforts

I was at work watching with the kids from my work at summer camp. Did a few laps around the room, I was PUMPED!

Most nervous I've been for a Kings draft since the Tyreke draft. W/ DMC I kinda felt like he would fall to us and Jimmer was kind of a given

Initially I was upset that MKG was picked. But the pairing of TRob and DMC sunk in and I so damn excited. Wasn't sure if he was joyful or upset

At first I was joking that he was upset, but I think he was just caught up in the moment, especially not having his mom or grandparents around anymore and knowing that he can take care of his sister now

 He sounds exactly like the type of guy we need on our team. Good rebounder, can chip in on the offensive end who shoots a good %, hard worker, and high character. Can't wait!
 
Should TRob start immediately over JT (if he comes back) and Chuck Hayes? Some Kings fans I've talked to said he should come off the bench at first. What do you guys think?

me and my buddy made the shirts, but they turned out terrible. I just ended up wearing my purple Kings draft shirt. I'm pretty sure that's why I got on camera though!!
