^ great points.
this dude is obviously mad homophobic and seems to speak as if everyone here is like him, and it's generally accepted that being called sus or gay is ok.
"we kinda believe you are straight", as if being gay is an insult.
he said "alternative life choice sympathizers", so it's obvious he thinks it's some sort of choice, and if you aren't a homophobic dude like him, you're a "sympathizer"...
sounds eerily like some crap KKK cats would prolly say, like "negro sympathizer"...
i think as straight men, some of us might have been homophobic in some ways in our lives, especially when we were younger... but there comes a time when you grow up and realize it really is the same thing as hating someone for the color of their skin. you're hating someone for simply how they were born, but they didn't have a choice to be black or white, nor did they have a choice to be straight or gay (i have friends who are gay and i can assure you, it's not a choice for them, so do they deserve to be treated like less of a human being cuz of how they were born?)...
thinking about the mindset those racists had 50 years ago, how hateful they were to someone who couldn't help what color they were born as, it doesn't make logical sense... it's some sort of strange, deep down insecurity in themselves, and the hate makes them feel better or something...
the same applies here. why you care that much about another person's god given sexual orientation says more about you than it does about them.
if being into clothes and shoes means i'm not manly, then i dunno... it's whatever... but i guess this whole forum isn't "manly"... contrary to what he said, that "coordinating an outfit shows a lack of character", i feel the absolute opposite. whether you're throwing together a dapper suit, or a simple pair of jeans, shirt, and sneaks, it just shows you care how you look, you have style, as a result of your character, that reflects your taste, and ironically, most women seem to love that about a man (very few prefer some bum lookin' dude who doesn't know how to put together a clean, decent outfit)...
this guy has a SUCH a small minded, narrow view tho... the way men dress has changed so much the last couple hundred years... from feminine looks like the founding fathers of this country had, to the dapper styles of the 1920's - 40's, to the feminine styles cats like jimi hendrix wore in the 60's, and on and on. i mean, hell, prince dresses mad feminine, and he prolly loves vagina more than all of us put together.
i think this guy thinks because he grew up seeing "real men" dress like the block huggers in the early 90's, that that's the way a man is supposed to look...
the closed-mindedness of NT never ceases to amaze me...
