Nevuary 2097.
Stop it already.

Fab is very hit and miss. Sadly, he misses more often than not.

And for the record, sneakers are ALWAYS for stuntin'.....not collecting.

During the throwback era, Fab WAS that dude, what rock where you living under?

#1) Andre and Outkast set that throwback whole +@@+ off. Distant Replays, the store that sold them, is based in Atlanta.
They did it first and nationwide, Outkast were FAR bigger than Fab.
#2) Fab and his throwback and his pinwheel/clown fitted never = SWAG. At least not to me. Perhaps you see otherwise. Big Boi + Jay rocked them MUCH cleaner.

#3) I'm from NY and Fab was NEVER that dude. He was always in at least 1 other rappers shadow.

So where you from?

We good?

If you're going to gush over another man's "swag", at least get it right. Just because you worship a dude, doesn't mean he IS "that dude".

this is true...after that era fell off it was a toss up between who's style u basically subscribed to..

if u was a hypebeast nerd skateboard P was ur guy

getting ur metro sexual on? kanye and da tight polos & lacostes were da land of da land...

into da mean rockstar look? u into da true religion & robins? jim, cam & juelz had it on smash

u a fitted and kicks cat? fat joe had alot of pull & influence

Fabolous basically settled into that "retroish streetwear/high end brands" look which he does good but isn't doing nuffin innovating like da throwback era...

You are entitled to your own opinion, but you are in the minority if you are gonna tell me that with type of exposure Fab had early in his carreer, he wasn't the dude to look for, the way alot of people look to kanye for today...Fab rocked out that throwback era, don't call yourself a new yorker if you can't come to terms with that
laugh.gif

Lulz @ you thinkin most dudes in NY were more influenced by Outkast than Fab back 10 years ago
roll.gif
what part of NY are you talking about?!...dudes would get clowned on dressing like Andre back in my HS days...
BTW just so you don't get it twisted, I'm not even a Fab fan like that...just been around long enough to have seen multiple trends and in New York at least he OWNED the throwback era.
