Los Angeles Lakers Nick Young reached out to jsm801 of Sneaker Embassy for a customized Air Jordan 11 Lows, and the final product is sick. According to jsm801, the 2000 Air Jordan 11 Columbia Lows were used as a base. The Columbian Blue was replaced with what appears to be a royal or eggplant purple patent overlay while gold accents and translucent outsoles complete the look.

Haha, true.
It's all about making a jersey that would have enough space to place sponsors' logos on. The NBA are certain jerseys will sell as long as a player's name is on it.
Obviously at the beginning there maybe some backlash from fans but there's too much revenue out there for the owners and the nba to turn down.
During all the games yesterday, I kept thinking they were in their warmups.
