So I'm hardly in Music but I figured this thread was needed to give a break to all the Wayne/Gucci/whoever else posts..
Been a fan of the Lox since '97 listening to "It's all About the Benjamins"..It kills me that people don't mention them enough when itcomes to rap favorites, especially Jada. Guess that's all opinion..
Anyway, post up your fave album, verse, member, Kool-Aid flavor. Just show love to the 3-Man Army..
Culprits:

For anyone looking to be "put on", here's some stuff to check out..
The LOX- Money, Power, Respect
The LOX's first official release in 1998 on Bad Boy Records. The first single was "If You Think I'm Jiggy" followed by the titletrack a few months later. This would be the first and last album on BB records due to "conflicting tastes" between LOX and Puffy..
Standout tracks: "Livin' the Life", "Not To Be @%$@*$ With", "Everybody Wanna Rat", "I Wanna Thank You"
The LOX- We Are The Streets
The LOX's second official release, the first album on their new deal with Ruff Ryders in 2000. Official singles Include "Ryde or Die Chick" & "Wild Out"..LOX would go on to appear on all three Ruff Ryder Compilations and Redemption mixtapes..
Standout Tracks: "+$@@ You", "Can I Live", "Blood Pressure", "Scream L.O.X.", "Y'all @%$@*$ Up Now"
Overall I think WRTS is better than MPR. The Pop music/mainstream undertones of Puffy's production are gone. WRTS shows the grit that LOX were so proud of..But that's just my opinion.
Individual works
All members have done plenty of solo projects & tracks, but I'll just list one per member to save some time..
Jadakiss- Kiss Tha Game Goodbye(2001)
Jada's first solo project, very very dope. Singles include "Knock Yourself Out" & "We Gon Make it"
Standout tracks: "Jada's Got a Gun", "Show Discipline ft. Nas"," None of Ya'll Betta ft. LOX"
Definitely my fave official Jada release, heavily played to this day. Other albums include "Kiss of Death(2004)" & most recently"The Last Kiss"..
Styles P- A Gangster and a Gentleman(2002)
Styles P's solo debut. Very solid record and should be coupled w/his under appreciated 2nd release Time is Money". Singles from AG&aG include "Daddy get That Cash", "My Life" & "Good Times"
Standout Tracks: "A Gangster & a Gentleman", "I'm a Ruff Ryder ft. Jadakiss", "We Thugs ft. The LOX", "Black Magic"
Sheek Louch- Walk Witt me (2003)
Guess I'm just rolling w/debut albums here..Most notable single would be "Might D-Block (2Gunz Up)"
Standout Tracks: "For You" "In/Out ft. Styles P" "Don't mean Nuthin' ft. Jadakiss, J-Hood"
Sheek is a busy dude, with 4 solo albums under his belt. They are "After Taxes(2005)", "Silverback Gorilla(200" & this year's "Life on D-Block"
Mixtapes
Nowadays you can find the LOX/D-Block on numerous mixtapes. It's ridiculous how many freestyles, tracks, collabs they have done. Then again I wouldn't expect less from them after a decade & a half..If you're looking to finally show this group some love then here a few suggestions..
Jadakiss- The Champ is Here(2004)
Styles P- Ghost in the Shell(2005)
D-Block The Revolution Will Not Be Televised(2005)
Jadakiss- Return of the Bad Guy Pt. 3
D Block- 3-Man Army(2009)
Jadakiss & Styles- Kiss The Ghost(2004)
(Got this in '04, but I think an individual just made the compilation on his own. Unofficial so to speak..Dopeness though)
D Block- Street Kings(200
Whew..I gotta stop there or ya'll might see that Willy Wonka character for the next few days. Please contribute and spread the word!
More to come..
