TP signature PEAK product already in the works. Tentatively scheduled to debut for this year's NBA Playoffs.
Nicknames by definition are informal created references. No one's arguing that. When given the actual facts behind something though that's completely counter to what's being used, then you're essentially admitting to being willfully ignorant despite it. Which again, that's up to everyone to make...
Note on the (misinformed) "Dolphins" nickname:
The custom iD Dolphins people have created are dope but the retail version coming out is 100% NOT Dolphins inspired. That pair is the "Miami Setting" model. Entire LeBron X "Miami Setting" color backstory is on CK...
Erik Siemers story in Portland Business Journal on today's Jordan 11 Bred release: http://www.bizjournals.com/portland/blog/threads_and_laces/2012/12/nikes-latest-retro-jordan-release.html
Yeah, last year's Concord XI was produced in about the same amount of pairs, 500,000k.
More normal retro releases throughout the year are far less, probably more in the 40-100k range.
Also read the original CounterKicks story as I detailed in there a better current comparison. Nike RARELY ever...
Some retailers are certainly stockpiling for a "surprise" restock later on, with 500,000 pairs made. Like how Finish Line for Black Friday magically came up with the Concord XIs again for sale on their site. Nike and others do the same. Only problem is you don't know when these restocks happen...

Here's the color story behind the "Prism" X. It's actually an artist collab shoe: http://counterkicks.com/2012/10/exclusive-the-artist-co-lab-created-story-behind-the-nike-lebron-x-prism/
We also laid out the full color backstory to the "Green Diamond" X (or "Dunkman" if you will) with a strong...
You guys, there is no "Black Diamond" shoe. That never existed to begin with, and I commented to that extent in the previous thread. That was always the Carbon shoe, some retailers were just pitched it wrong. That name should be dropped from the list. I think JM kept using that term and gave it...
So according to this Fast Company story, we'll be getting Nike Livestrong product well past that Summer 2013 product look above. Lance and Livestrong have separate contracts. The Livestrong licensing still has two years left on it:
Around 10 o’clock last night, while Ulman was home watching...
Nike tells us they're going to continue with the LIVESTRONG product line. We just posted a first look at Nike SUMMER 2013 Livestrong shoes: http://counterkicks.com/2012/10/exclusive-nikes-summer-2013-livestrong-shoes-for-the-lance-armstrong-foundation/
Includes alternate colorways of Air Max 95...
Well, it is an in-line style, the standard season $180 version of the X so you can say it's a GR. How fast the product moves depends on how big the demand is though.
Here's the full color inspiration backstory to the LeBron X "Yellow Diamond": http://counterkicks.com/2012/10/exclusive-the-double-faceted-story-behind-the-nike-lebron-x-yellow-diamond/
It's cool man. They changed launch dates on this one a lot, but shoe releases in general have always been up in the air so I've learned over the years that you never follow whatever it says on the calendar because they change so often. You use it as general guideline but then you need to factor...
Yup, just checked. Things did change again indeed. Volts went from regular $180 to scheduled $270 X+ model and now back to standard $180 again. No diamond Swoosh and Volt lacelocks, that sucks. I'm still looking forward to the shoe for some brightness in the in-line releases. All I got is an iD...
