Tried on a pair at my local Champs the other day...price is $99.98 in store. Was close to copping them but held off because a FTL Outlet has them for $87.50 plus tax but I would need to take a trip back to LA for them.
Also which places still have these for cheap, perhaps in So Cal in store...
I guess you are right, and I've been away too long...I had a pair in 2004; the most recent retro was in 2018 and the price on those is insane...I got the 2003s for $40 from the outlet way back when.
With all these re-retros like the Shimas, I got intrigued again., so much that the blue Shimas...
Oh man, I was just at that track a few months ago...Willow Springs, which is being sold now. I remember at that time also going to Long Beach for the Grand Prix when they use to let these celebrities race each other (At that time they were Celicas).
Copped a pair two weeks ago for that price and 40% off, these were still on the racks as well so no cut top. Normally a 9.5 but 10 was the smallest size left. With tax for $26 out the door, a no brainer to add to the collection.
I remember the Pear HUFs that originally released in '04, they were hitting many outlets at that time for $40 (S**t I'm old) as I remember grabbing a pair then
Absolutely! I saw these Trainers at the Nike stores (FS, Community) around Feb & Mar, and most of them now have all but sold out of them; the Citrons are on the hash wall in most Nike stores and mine was also green tagged in the store I bought at. Another observation, the Clearance Store I stop...
Forgot to m
forgot to mention, the Citrons were $80 green tagged and $48 with the 40% off; Finishline still has a couple of pairs for $40 but I balked and didn't buy them then, which I should've done so.
Also, I got the matching Citron Cross Trainer 3s for $54 with the 40% off
Picked up the following three AT1s this past year: these ESSs from FL for $45, Violets from Shiekh for $50 and the Citrons from Nike FS at 40% off just this past weekend:
