Most of my 97s are pretty old and when I did try one for size, these newer 97s have a smaller toe box area and I had to go up to a 10 from a 9.5...that was probably why I didn't buy it but yeah, having a softer midsole is preferred these days. I guess that's why I'm a huge fan of re-released TL...
