This one was at a truck stop. Checked their website out and looks like a few in SoCal and plenty in AZ. I would definitely not hesitate to go back.

Black Bear Diner in Barstow. Got the Grizz, was actually pretty good. French toast was excellent, far better than I was expecting. Big portions, typical diner food, I would say above par for diners

Moved son into CSUDH, decided to go to lunch. We end up at San Pedro Fish Market. I thought everything was pretty good. Got the famous shrimp tray, with a few pounds of mussels in the Cajun sauce. Couple pounds of swai and a pound of oysters both fried. That fried fish though!

Yea it can be tough to tell with out a thermometer. I usually go mid 190’s for sliced and upper 190’s for the shred effect.

That Salt lick is good stuff. Used that for years. Couldn’t get it in Call and kinda fell off for a min. Think you’ll like it, the garlic one was my favorite. It will do your brisket justice.
