Anyone got a read on the leather quality of the Ultraforce Leather?
It's interesting that they are doing a lot of tweaks to the AF1 silhouette. I won't be wearing most of these shoes, but I like the experimentation. The SF boots thing cracks me up. Like a tactical boot with no tread? I can't...
The nikelabs are awesome! A welcome respite from the crap materials of the GRs. The midsole is even wrapped so it will be resistant to yellowing. I've bought a couple pairs at full retail, and don't regret it at all, although they will appear at a discount on eBay and some other retailers. I...
Thanks the for the intel. I'm guessing the tumbled stuff is pretty good but the smooth parts are GR plastic? Gonna pass now since I dislike the way the plastic stuff creases.
Got a pair of the teal colorway for $100 when it went on sale briefly at NDC. Would also be into the orange colorway at that price point.
A great looking shoe for sure, and very comfortable for casual wear, but I gotta say that Nike ****** up bad with the stability in the heel. I feel like I'm...
KD is definitely already part of the elite. I'd put him at 3 after Lebron and Steph. It will be interesting to watch how things play out in Golden State this year with him and Curry on the same team. I feel KD is the better individual player. It's hard to say what happens after Bron retires...
Put back dunks, alley oops and whatever does not get it done though. If it did you would've seen a lot of big guys do great with signatures, but that hasn't been the case. There is a reason Anthony Davis does not have a sig, and why KG's shoe never did much and Shaq's shoe career is pretty...
D Lillard is another guy who I think is a perfect signature athlete right now. Harden sort of as well, but his game isn't visually what you'd hope for and his personality has issues too.
I'm all about Porzingis, but the fact remains, big guys don't sell shoes. Especially big white guys who...
Hard to say. There is definitely nobody in the pipeline that is remotely close to Lebron caliber, and the most interesting guys are signed with other brands. Ben Simmons has great potential as a signature athlete based on his handles and passing ability, but he needs to learn to shoot and become...
Yea at $170 this shoe is competitive with the $180 Ultra Boost. At $200 it's no contest for the UB. It blows my mind they retail the Air Max 2016 flyknit for $225.
I've been a Nike loyalist all my life and will always love the brand, but I recently started getting interested in Adidas. The energy return of boost is very impressive. It's the first sneaker-tech that got me hyped in a long time. You get a bit of this with full length zoom, but the effect is...
For me these are lifestyle-only shoes. The cushion is comfortable but it's crazy thick, like you're standing on a 1.5 inch wobbly platform. This might work OK on a high top basketball shoe with lots of structure, but with the mesh upper on these there is absolutely no support. It's an ankle roll...
They've dropped the price on all colorways on NDC to $170. Not on clearance, just a price change. Guess these puppies were not selling as quickly as expected at $200. I'm gonna hold out and hope to grab a pair around $120ish.
The quality is the same as the Retro QS highs from earlier this year right? I won't touch the mass release pairs after getting a pair of white on whites from my local Champs and seeing how cheap the plastic is compared to my QS highs. I hate how it creases.
Finally bit the bullet and copped these. $120 on footlocker.com with an extra $20 off from a discount code I scrounged up off google. Very stoked for the colorway but wish they had just made the rubber bits on the heal and toe solid white. That's gonna bother me when it yellows.
