I disagree. I tend to only wear thicker socks with my ER's because otherwise, my narrow feet don't fit nicely into the shoe. A size down would be too small but a thicker sock is just right. So I've had a similar issue with "real" flyknit.
I think I agree with you. I don't believe a single plate in between foam can act as a "spring" as some people say. But stacking them in this manner probably does offer some extra advantage.
I don't think it's a fabrication. As I wear different shoes for easy days. I prefer my Turbo's for easier runs because of the softness. But when I'm feeling fresh I'll go with my Zante's or regular Peg's. Nike isn't the first to think of such. Theirs just cost more than other options from other...
