people on ebay just do a $1 transaction and charge more for the shipping to get around on the fees. this is for people who buy on forums and have the sellerinsist that they cover charges

^^^^^ you're correct, but in many situations online the seller asks the buyer to cover the 4% that paypal charges on a transaction. this is reducing thefee from say $40 to .40. and no the amount doesn't have to be that large
