Lower tier coach like Scott? What??? Hes been to the finals two times, aint his fault they played the Lakers and Spurs those years. Hes only had 1 bad season.
JVG hasnt won anything his entire career. Hes never even been to the finals. Plus hes all about defense, that mentality will never...
I say sign McGrady only if he wants to sign for Vet minimun, NOT THE MLE. I know he wont take it but worth a shot to low-ball him. I dont know about him at MLE, thats kind of risky. I dont trust him. Besides, we need DEFENSE.
How sad do you think Ariza is now that the Lakers are champs again...especially to beat Boston in a game 7, a once in a lifetime chance.
He let his agent put things in his ear and it bit him in the butt.
Have fun being on a losing squad Trevor, thank your agent for that.
I wish he woulda...
Lamar saying he plans on playing more SF means the Lakers must be actively pursuing a back up center so that he doesnt have to be the first one off the bench when Bynum sits down. Thats a good sign.
Hopefully we can get an Oberto or Kurt Thomas type that comes in and gives us solid minutes for...
Keep in mind that BScott played the Triangle offense in NOLA.
I bet Cleveland has him give them an answer before next week bc they know thats when Phil will make his decision.
LO said he plans on playing more small forward next year, which means the Lakers will probably sign a legit back up for Pau/Bynum so that Odom can play SF more.
To add to my post above,
NO to Morrison, Powell, and Mbenga
YES to SBrown.
YES to Kurt Thomas.
Bynum/KThomas
Pau/KThomas/LO...
Two things:
1) Its not about stats. Sure Farmar can average tons of points if he starts for a team like Memphis or New Jersey. But we're talking about a championship caliber team. Also, Hinrich plays excellent D, is very tough and has shown to be very productive come playoff time.
2) Yes...
Bottom line is
Kobe>Lebron
Lebron on the same Laker squad would not have won. It takes mental toughness to win a championship, and Lebron doesnt have that.
I would love for Lebron adn Bosh to get together, because then people will stop making excuses with the Magic or Celtics eliminate...

Agree with NobleKane. The earlier three peat laker team had great guards who could shoot (Shaw, Harper, Rush) We need a guards that defends first and foremost, and can hit open threes. Simple as that, no-one flashy, just some hard nose player that wont give us drama.
Gilbert Arenas?
Are you guys joking? Talent doesn't win championships. Discipline, Heart and Mental toughness does. He doesnt have any of these attributes. Also, why would we want to take on Gilberts contract?
Thats the dumbest thing ive heard all year.
I dont know about Korver. I dont trust a guy who can literally ONLY shoot threes. He cannot defend, cannot dribble. Sounds like Radmonavic (except a slightly better shooter)
