Thats the simplest thing to do. Otherwise get 16 gb and an SSD. Dont mess around with a larger traditional HD. The bottleneck of most systems is writing to the HD. You get a Sata 3 SSD and you'll notice an immediate improvement in your system.
I don't get how this isn't adding up. Maybe some of you forgot a year ago when Anders Breivik killed 77 people in Norway. He did it single handedly and manufactured his own bombs and everything. Heavily armed he gave no resistance when police arrived. The Aurora shootings pale in comparison...
I've got an early 2008 MacBook Pro as a HTPC. Dropped the thing at work and shattered the screen. Everything else worked so I hooked the dvi up to my tv and the optical to my receiver. Plugged in a 1tb USb drive for extra storage. Use a wireless keyboard and mouse with it. Also setup remote...
it depends on the macbook. for the older models if you're over 300 cycles then you've consumed the battery and its all on you. If you're under 300 cycles and the battery is below 80% health then they'll cover it. for the unibody MacBooks its 1000 cycles.
I saw that watched the first episode of the new series too. I thought the movie was pretty bad and it feels like the series is the same exact thing. Show should really be called white girl problems. I can see why the critics like it but I think its going to get old real fast.
I had earplugs in the entire show so I don't know. For this event I just provided the PA, so all the speakers flying in the air and the subs on the floor. His crew struggled to say the least. There ways way too much high ended EQ'd into the system. The one time I did listen was during the...
Haha I was there too. I did the sound for that event. I do a bunch of those type of events and the chicks always look good. Dudes look goofy as all hell.
For me it's the "it just works" argument that sold me on macs. When people say I that I think it refers mostly to the synergy between the hardware and software. With windows machines you have an infinite amount of configurations of hardware and drivers have to written for every one of those...
for system tweaks i use:
istat - system stats
caffeine - quick click to keep your computer from going to sleep
candybar - icon change
afloat - keeps a window on top of others at all times
right zoom - makes the window go full screen like windows
for actual programs
adium - chat client, does...
The software you would have to "buy" to make it work wouldn't be worth the hassle. You're better off using ableton. Additionally Akai makes products specifically for ableton so I can't imagine any software working better with an mph than Live.
I have like ten pairs between v6's and 7506's. For $100 theses are the most accurate well built cans you can get. Their a standard in the music industry for a reason. Throw some Beyerdynamic velour pads on them and their even more comfortable.
I bought applecare for my first macbook pro via eBay. No problems at all. eBay seller emailed me the activation code within a day. You just have to make sure the seller has good feedback before you do. I think it was like $160 on eBay. Didn't know at the time that you could get the student...
