Can anyone recommend me a good bag? Preferably a messenger style bag. not too big and not too expensive(less than $100). I would like it to carry the following: Gripped Canon 40d with Sigma 70-200 2.8 mounted Canon Nifty 50mm and maybe a 430ex speedlite. Filters, pens, extra lens caps etc...

Drop your iso to the very lowest it can go. Stop down your aperture to minimize the amount of light that goes through the lens.  If all else fails slap on a couple neutral density filters, they're like sunglasses for your lens.

I have a sigma 70-200 f2.8 mounted on a canon xt and it does get a bit of attention especially when the hood is on. A big plus tho is when I go to take pics of my nefews at there plays and games everyone stays out of my way

all i know is that if you root your phone it voids out the warranty. check out a few videos over at theunlockr.com. they are really helpfull

IMO i would go with canon. I would also check around on craigslist for an older body (ie. XTi, XT, Xsi), and with the money you save you can get an extralens/speedlite/etc.

sorry to hear about your loss fam. when i was one at my boys funeral, i just sat with the other pallbearers and helped carry the casket. I think it alsousually means that you sit with the family of the deceased after the funeral when everyone eats. again, sorry for your loss
