I've bought and sold a lot on stockx over the last couple of years. I'm guessing that was taken into consideration. Regardless, I feel relieved. Was anticipating more brushing off from "customer service".
I've actually got great news. Stockx emailed me a shipping label and they say they will provide a full refund once they receive them. I'm happily stunned lol. Miracles do happen haha
I'm considering requesting a chargeback thru PayPal, just not sure it's worth the hassle and potential ban from StockX. But there needs to be some sort of buyer protection. Being authentic isn't good enough, damaged shoes shouldn't pass inspection either.
4 days later, still only got the "we're sorry you're disappointed, we'll be forwarding this to complaints" email. I've followed up asking for an update, nothing in response yet. I'm kinda undecided on what to do next. The tag is still on obviously, but I don't want just resell it back. First...
Do you or does anyone know if I have any dispute options with PayPal if StockX refuses to budge on this? I'm willing to go to whatever lengths necessary this go round to get a full refund and return. Thanks
Stockx pair just came in...welp. I've already contacted support. I agree with everyone that we can't expect perfection every time, and there should be an allowance for slight factory inconsistencies. But authentication should include screening for damage like this. There's literally no suede...
It's getting to the point where there is no bottom floor for the dip in these 6's. It's crazy. There is no good time to buy. It's just gonna keep going down lol
Haha, yeah. It wasn't exactly the easiest video to watch. I think he started making hands on comparisons around the 9 minute mark? Height, color, materials, etc. It actually makes sense that scammers would try this. Spend the dough on a legit pair, mix and match with a fake pair, sell twice...
Not gonna lie, this has me a little nervous about my TS6 order from StockX. I'm confident I've never received a fake pair from StockX before, and I realize that the odds are probably really small, but seeing this still makes me feel a little anxious..
I'm not so sure. Those are legit cuts/tears in the leather. And in the toebox of all areas. I'm just keeping that good ol stockx tag on em and will likely sell em back when they come back up in value. In my email exchange with customer support I told them to be prepared for a complaint by the...
Prices have been down across the board for so many shoes though since September, seems like the market is just down. But I agree, it feels like it'll all rebound at once
You live and you learn. Not every shoe follows the same pattern, especially with TS hype. This could've easily gone the direction of the 1's and only gone up. I know it's 6's vs 1's but the TS hype was a real wild card factor. Patience can often cost as much as it can save.
Yup, and I'm glad to be wrong with the way things worked out! Still, I don't think anyone predicted it would continue to drop for this long, this fast. But I'm glad a lot of us here are reaping the benefits
