Got my pair from rrs (in an rrs box, not nike for whafever reason). Initial impression is underwhelming, hoping to take advantage of their 90 day trial period before making a decision on whether or not to keep them. Plan was to wear them for training and short (3-10 miles) runs
girlfriend's sister's wedding is in 3 weeks, was hoping to get some advice on what to wear.
for the rehearsal i'm thinking navy suit with white or blue (possibly simple check pattern) shirt, pocket square and bourbon double monks
for the wedding (i'm not in it apart from an usher) i think...
yeah you're probably better off with half size down. I have narrow feet and when i went tts there was a gap in front of my foot that bothered me, so I went half size down and they fit perfect.
i know it's been posted as tts but is that in reference to adidas sizing or nike? I'm looking to get the retro boost and I wear an 11 in flyknit racers (can wear 10.5 or 11 in trainers) and an 11 in ultra boosts so I'm a little torn on whether to get 10.5 or 11 in the retro boost
kickin myself for missing out on the retro boosts on jackthreads, they would be a nice option for summer and a good alternative to the elusive sock dart
looks like I may be doing london/paris in early july, looking for a bag as well.
most likely going for one from Topo, deciding between the day pack and trip pack: http://topodesigns.com/collections/bags/products/trip-pack
after a indoor training session with the ultra boosts, i think i'm going to return them in favor of flyknit lunar 3's. i'm not overly impressed by the comfort, functionality or weight.
if they're the flat style then I use them in all my racers that came with ribbon laces and I think they look perfect.
I hope you didn't pay too much for them
Rather than being impatient and bringing the same question up two pages in a row, how about going through the thread and finding the users who have customized flyknits and then sending them a pm? Show a little more ambition and you may get your answer faster.
From what I remember reading...
got my ultra boost in from sports authority and decided to take a few pictures that hopefully help those wondering about sizing.
ultra boost are size 10.5, flyknit trainers are size 11 (unpadded). as you can see, they're about the same total length, but due to the "bootie" design of the ultra...
When I spoke to a rep at rrs they said Adidas is excluding this item from coupons/promotions. Sucks because the 17% off on ftl was working the other day and now it is not, should've ordered them then for $150. Oh well, eventually that policy will change.
Nike has been doing this for some time, especially as of late. The huarache, am90, and the am93 to name a few.
fixed. should only matter if to someone who is buying shoes to attempt to impress others rather than for his/her personal enjoyment or benefit.
^ that makes the most sense. i'm sure they're capable of changing the sole color, but in order to keep production costs minimal they just have one sole. in my opinion, this shoe was designed to compete with the roshe run so minimizing the cost difference is crucial.
there is a reason, however. limited shoes = high resale price. a better statement would be there is no reason that a jordan 1 black/red should reach similar price levels (initially) as they saw a much wider release.
