I'm seeing so many reviews YT of how much people disliked TLOU2. Seemed like people really wanted the first game all over again.
I finished it over the weekend and enjoyed the hell out of it. Glad to see people on here are enjoying it / enjoyed it too. Going to start NG+ tonight
Just finished Sopranos. While it was good, it didn't stick the landing. Also the Sopranos didn't give us the legendary kind of reaction gifs that the Wire provided.
If there was a way to watch a movie for the first time today, like if the Men In Black flashy thing were real, what movies would you want to re-watch?
Friday- As a 35 year old, and how my humor has evolved, I'd love this movie if I were able to watch it fresh.
The Matrix
The 6th Sense- just...
Pulp Fiction is my fav movie of all time
Edit: just saw that Ace Ventura, The Mask, and Dumb and Dumber came out in 94 also. Hell of a run for Jim Carey
Nice to see 99 getting a lot of love.
Big Daddy, Matrix, Fight Club are some of my fav movies.
98 was a good contender too
Rush Hour, There's Something About Mary, Truman Show, Saving Private Ryan
In San Diego for a few days and got to link w my bro @jaymosenvied.
Story time: Earlier on this thread someone identified another NTer because of the Plums. In 05/06 I was in the campus library and hit up someone who was browsing NT (pre laptop / smart phone days). And we been homies ever since.
I posted this on the reddit sub r/DunksNotDead when the Plums dropped.
TLDR:
2008 - Dunks became increasingly difficult to get due to backdooring. Dunk hype eventually dies
2020 - Dunks are in again and difficult to get due to backdooring, bots, and resellers. Dunk hype will eventually die.
