Lockdown is the most important part in a basketball shoe for me, too, since I have pretty narrow feet. A good indication is how far down the lacing system goes towards the toes - the further, the better the fit. So in my opinion...

I never gave them a real chance...for me, it's still the FP1 holding the crown of the foamposite based sneakers performance-wise.
One thing is for sure though, they will never look as clean as in those pictures...unless you leave them in the box. The shiny parts scuff like hell.
