You can get around the authentication process by having your shoes shipped to a PO box. I just received a pair this week using this method. It states this in the FAQ. Must have something to do with the type of shipping Ebay uses from the authentication place.

I pulled mine out a few weeks ago and noticed the glitter like film. I was suprised to see it. It wiped off with a damp towel. Never knew that these had the glitter issue either, but it makes since having black leather.

I have this pair. They are comfortable for casual wear. Picked them up on DSW for around $50. They are nice, but wouldn't pay retail for them.
