@GreyFoxx if your mom is a tailor that changes everything in regards to alterations. Also, have your mom tailor from the inseam if there is selvage on the outseam.
Increasing the size on raws (or denim in general) is just a bad idea. Make sure to do a hot soak(s) and get all the shrink out. Your frankenstein jeans will be weaker at all the areas that are tailored... Plus the fades may be funky depending on where the alterations are. Railcar fine goods has...
Well I'll pass. Need more pics, but that doesn't look balanced to me. Looks like a red shoe. Might need to sell some shoes to get the a ma maniere. I originally liked the darker pair, but am unsure if it will darken as much as the lighter pair would.
My s710xx's stretched a little under 2 inches since I gained weight. Tag size 30 and they are stretched ~32. Samurai's are known to stretch. I bought the sammy's when I had a 31 inch waist. Freshman 15 hit me 8 years later.
@EMkicks check out blue owl and Tate and yoko's sizing if you're looking at the Okayama spirit 2's. I would google Okayama spirit 2 shrink for more info.
It really depends on the company and I think the type of weave. Some companies have a loose weave (oni) while others have a tighter weave (momotaro). Weight can also be a factor. I believe pure blue Japan is known to stretch alot. Generally speaking, the denim stretches to tag size. Like blunt...
