I typically wear 8.5 in 998/997. I probably could wear an 8 in 998 for a snug fit. I have the 1500 freedom trails in an 8 and those are really tight. If anything you may be able to take out the insoles.

Well the upside with mesh is it takes longer to crease, better breathability, and easier to clean. My 997NV toebox still looks pretty good.

I've been searching this thread for 1500 sizing. Looks like its TTS. I'm an 8.5 in 997/998, 9 in Asics GLV/GLIII. I have narrow feet, but I'm looking at the BF sales on 1500CF/PFT which are available in size 8, think i could fit? Otherwise I might just settle with the flimbys. Don't really need...

Any tips on deodorizing mildew from NBs? My 998ogs I bought used smell pretty funky. I'm gonna do some googling too, I just figured someone here might have had some luck. They're already years old so I think I may be out of luck.

Loved my CELs, I probably should have sent mine in as the tip of the outsole separated after a few wears when I hit a corner of a brick. The other tip separated a few months later.
