This arrived yesterday and gave them a deep cleaning. Sz12 from 85 fit like an 11.5 which is perfect for me and the outsole seems to match an 11.5. I compared my retro og metallic sz12 to these and the metallics are a little longer.

Curious to know if anyone is familiar with the difference in sizing from OG releases from the 80s versus the retro releases.

the one on the left came with a pair of AJ1's from 2001. The one on the right, i purchased for another pair of AJ1s from 2001 but its noticeably smaller.
Is it a fake or did JB make these hang tags in different sizes for different pairs?
it can be if you're looking at different retros from different years. The most recent retros should have similiar thickness. I would compare them to another AJ3 from the same year. If you compare the og's to the retros you'll definitely see a difference in the elephant print on the front and on...
i usually check stitching quality and other characteristics but the pics don't provide much detail becuz they were taken to far away...no close ups. Can see what I need even if i zoomed in.
I purchases these from SNS (Sneakers N Stuff). They are a reputable retailer but I was skeptical after looking at the box label - more like a zerox'd sticker. There is a quality control sticker and a factory stamp inside the box but still feel wierd about them plus this is the first pair of 6's...
