Finally gonna Un-DS my pair tonight for a rooftop party in Chicago. Been waiting for a special occasion to wear these and it's her b-day plus a welcome party for me to the city. Not gonna lie, was on the fence about it until I saw Hov in the Otis video, really got me finally wanting to wear them.

The plastic lace loops don't look clear either. Caved in and got the Sprites off Eastbay.  Interesting strategy for Nike with this release, wonder if we're going to be seeing more of this in the future.  It sure as hell makes things REAL tough for resellers.

Windycitysole is taking preorders for 280 and is estimating delivery 2 weeks before release. Hella steep.

PYS is solid when it comes to shipping. Very rarely does that dude take more than a couple business days to ship and everything always arrives in pristine condition. Only reason I held off is because I'm on the fence and I want to see these in person first.

FINALLY got my Yankee V/2's in. Man, there is absolutely no more comfortable feeling on your feet than slipping a pair of brand new V/2's on for the very first time. Most comfortable shoe ever made and it's not even up for debate.
