I hooped in these shoes 3 times MAX, and on the 3rd occasion I felt that the zoom air popped in my left shoe....So basically I was walking on the carbon shank plate and rubber. Will Nike do anything about this? (Voucher or anything???) or will they say its from normal wear and tear?....The shoe still looks brand new and they still look fresh with denims....it just feels horrible when walking....

Oh OK, I'm not heart broken over it...I just think its unacceptable for the zoom air to pop in a $200 shoe while playing basketball on a hardwood floor. Like I said, the shoes aren't beat up at all. I have beaters from when I was a youngin', and the zoom air is still intact....I'm talking about shoes that are 8-10-years-old that took the beating from a very active child who spent most of the summer hooping on hot asphalt outside

I think retros are just put out as novelty items. There's little to no "warranty" on the sneakers that may fault. On the flip side, newer Nike models can be replaced w/the quickness.
