RAW IS BEING TAPED IN LONDON.
KEEP ANY SPOILERS FOR TONIGHT'S SHOW IN SPOILER TAGS
AND
ANY DISCUSSIONS OF SPOILERS ALSO IN SPOILER TAGS.
Last week we all suffered through one of the worst Raw's in recent memory. Throw out the overall boring three hour, twenty minute show with a completely dead crowd, the real problem was the completely idiotic booking of the show with Dolph Ziggler losing clean in his first match on Raw since finally winning the World Title after months of jobbing. So it looks like that trend will just continue despite now being the World Champion. We also had Wade Barrett (Intercontinental Champion) lose clean to R-Truth. Antonio Cesaro lost his United States Title to Kofi Kingston, though he did get to yodel. This is actually probably a good thing for Cesaro, and now Kofi can go on a massive losing streak. And for good measure, Kaitlyn, the Divas Champion in case you were unaware, lost to one of the Bellas after they did Twin Magic.
We also had a brutal Fandango segment where WWE tried to tell us just how cool and hip Fandango'ing was (something that never works when WWE tries forcing something organic down our throats). A Ryback promo that while good, went way too long and didn't feel natural at all. And John Cena cutting a comedy promo face to face with Ryback, the man we're supposed to believe is going to beat Cena for the title at Extreme Rules.
Oh, and of course we get Brock vs HHH PART 3... a match that no one wants to see.
Tonight on Raw, we have:
- A very, very rare Undertaker match on Raw. If he actually wrestles remains to be seen, but he is advertised for the six man tag match of Taker and Team Hell No vs The Shield.
- HHH will announce if he will accept Paul Heyman's and Brock Lesnar's challenge of a steel cage match at Extreme Rules.
- Fandango has new theme music. If you haven't heard it yet, it's basically his original music sped up with more of a disco beat, and get this... it has the crowd singing along already piped in. Terrible.
- All negatives aside, we should have an absolutely electric crowd tonight in London which should make the show a lot of fun. But even with that, there is a negative as we'll have to hear Jerry Lawler insult the crowd all night long.
