Would the Lakers have a better chance at beating OKC if the CP3 trade went thru?

Watching CP pull together a pretty solid line gainst the Spurs tonight despite getting swept. Kinda got me thinking... hypothetically, if the Hornets trade of CP3 to the Lakers panned out, and the Lakers ended up swooping Michael Beasley before the trade deadline, would they be in a better spot than they are now at beating OKC and maybe potentially makign it to the finals?

LAL would still have no bench and even less big men. Who knows if CP3 and Kobe even works out.

ya, having two dominant players play in the backcourt together should probably work wonders for the Lakers. Plus that probably means McRoberts can finally start!
